Heat wave for some today through Saturday…
There will be a heat wave for some inland locations today through Saturday but today and tomorrow now look just a touch cooler than they did previously for many people, as a couple of weak disturbances will bring a few clouds and a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will range from the upper 70’s to low 80’s along the coast and on Long Island to the low to mid 90’s in East Central PA and West Central NJ today, and the low to mid 80’s in Northeastern PA, along the NJ Coast and on Eastern Long Island to the upper 80’s to low 90’s in Central and Northeastern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, Western Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT tomorrow. Saturday highs should then range from the upper 70’s to low 80’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island to the low to mid 90’s in East Central PA, Central and Northern NJ, and Orange County, NY.
Sunday a cold front will move through, cooling things down a bit and giving us a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning. Highs will range from the mid to upper 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s in Central NJ.
Monday through Wednesday should then be nice and still warm with highs mainly in the 80’s, rising to near 90 by Wednesday.
Next Thursday through Wednesday then look to be cooler with highs mainly in the 70’s to low 80’s. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms next Saturday night and Sunday, and possibly again next Wednesday night.
Have a fantastic day and stay cool!
