Even though I went lighter on the snowfall totals than most forecasters, I was still too high in most places. There was a big break in the precipitation and then the warm air surged in, pretty much as expected, but I did think we would get just a bit more snow than this.
Anyway, there are still pockets of freezing rain around in Northeastern PA, and Northern NJ, and likely still some snow and freezing rain around in Southeastern NY and Fairfield County, CT, so be careful if driving this morning.
Next up will be a chance of a touch of snow Tuesday night and then the bitter cold Friday, with another chance for some snow Saturday morning.
More a bit later with the look at the Next 2 Weeks and Morning Weather Discussion.
