Warmer, but snow in some places Christmas Eve morning?
It will be warmer starting tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 40’s in most places, but possibly still some mid to upper 30’s in parts of Northeastern PA.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with just a slight chance of a rain or snow shower as a weak disturbance passes by to our north. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.
Friday will then be nice with highs in the low to mid 40’s.
Christmas Eve, we will have a chance of rain or snow developing in the morning and ending in the early afternoon as a weak disturbance passes through our area. If the precipitation moves in early enough in the morning there will be a chance of some accumulation of snow in northern sections of our area, especially in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State and in Fairfield County, CT. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State and in Fairfield County, CT, to the low to mid 40’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.
Christmas Day then looks variably cloudy with a slight chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will range from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.
Monday then looks variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower and highs from the mid 30’s in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, to the low to mid 40’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.
Next Tuesday we will then have a chance of showers as a cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Next Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Thursday we will have a chance of rain or snow developing in the morning, then changing to rain, as a storm system approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Friday through New Year’s Day then look nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Friday, the 30’s New Year’s Eve, and the mid 30's to low 40's New Year’s Day.
New Year’s Night through next Monday morning we will have a chance of showers as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30's to low 40's.
