Wednesday, December 7, 2016 - Evening Weather Discussion

Colder and then the next storm is Sunday night into Monday…

It will be nice tomorrow with highs ranging from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ.

Friday and Saturday will then be colder with a slight chance of a snow shower both days as some moisture makes its way in our direction off the Great Lakes. Highs will be in the 30’s Friday and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s Saturday.

Sunday, we will have increasing cloudiness in the afternoon with a chance of snow developing at night in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and rain in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island as a storm system approaches from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.

Early Monday morning it appears as if the snow will change to rain in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State and in Fairfield County, CT, and will continue in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island. The rain should end at night. Highs will range from the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s to low 60’s in Central NJ.

Tuesday should then be variably cloudy with highs ranging from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.

Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a strong cold front moves through our area. Highs will be in the 20’s to low 30’s.

Next Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a snow shower as some moisture may reach our area from the Great Lakes. Highs will be in the mid teens to low 20’s.

Next Friday will be nice with highs in the 20’s inland and the low 30’s along the coast and on Long Island.

Next Saturday into Sunday morning we will have a chance of rain or snow as a Nor’easter may form along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Monday and Tuesday then look nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
