Friday, March 24, 2017 - Evening Weather Discussion

Sharp temperature gradient tomorrow…

There will be a chance of showers tomorrow as a cold front approaches from the north. North of this front temperatures are in the 30’s and 40’s and south of this front temperatures are in the 60’s and 70’s. The front will be situated right over our area tomorrow with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s in Southeastern NY State from north to south, the upper 40’s to mid 50’s in Fairfield County, CT, from north to south, the mid 40’s to low 60’s from north to south in Northeastern PA, the mid 50’s to upper 60’s in Northern NJ from north to south, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s in NYC from north to south, the mid 50’s to mid 60’s from east to west on Long Island, and in the mid to upper 60’s in East Central PA and Central NJ.

Sunday and Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a couple of disturbances pass through our area from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday and the mid 40’s and 50’s Monday.

Tuesday will then be variably cloudy with a continued chance of a shower. It will be warm with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Wednesday and Thursday then look nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Wednesday and the 50’s Thursday.

Next Friday looks variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a storm approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Next Saturday there will be a chance of a shower in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be from the mid 50’s to the 60’s.

Next Sunday then looks nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Monday there will be increasing cloudiness with a chance of rain developing as a storm system approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a chance of showers with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Next Thursday then looks nice with highs again in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
