Monday, July 24, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Heavy rainfall ending this morning…

There was some very heavy rainfall overnight in parts of Central and Southern NJ, with over four inches of rain in some locations as a strong disturbance moves through our area. Click here to see some of the heavy rainfall amounts in Central and Southern NJ.

The steady rain will end this morning, followed by variably cloudy skies and a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will range from the low to mid 60’s in Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, to the mid 70’s to low 80’s in East Central PA and Central NJ.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a continued chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Wednesday and Thursday then look variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s Wednesday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s Thursday.

Friday a cold front and associated disturbance will pass through our area, bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the 70’s to mid 80’s.

Saturday through next Wednesday then look nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Saturday and Sunday, rising to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Monday, the 80’s next Tuesday, and the 80’s to low 90’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Friday and Saturday then look nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Sunday then looks variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
