There will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm tonight, followed by clearing tomorrow morning as a cold front passes through our area. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Thursday will be nice with highs in the 70’s to low 80’s.
A tropical storm or hurricane named Harvey is then likely to form in the Western Gulf of Mexico Thursday, making landfall between Brownsville and Corpus Christi, Texas, Friday. The remnants of this storm may affect our area late next week.
Friday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will range from the upper 60’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 70’s in Central NJ.
Saturday through next Thursday then look nice with highs in the 70’s Saturday and Sunday, the low to mid 70’s Monday and next Tuesday, the 70’s next Wednesday, and the 70’s to low 80’s next Thursday.
Sunday through next Tuesday a tropical storm may form off the Florida and Carolina Coasts, possibly threatening Eastern North Carolina with landfall. The effects in our area should only be the possibility of high surf along the coast the middle of next week.
Next Friday through Monday then look variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as the remnants of Harvey may affect our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Friday, the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Saturday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Sunday, and the 70’s next Monday.
