Wednesday, August 23, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Nice through next Wednesday and then watching Harvey…

After the heavy storms last night it will now be nice through next Wednesday as a strong cold front has moved through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s today, the 70’s to low 80’s tomorrow, the upper 60’s and 70’s Friday and Saturday, the 70’s Sunday through Tuesday, and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Wednesday.

Friday Harvey will likely re-develop into a Tropical Storm or Hurricane in the Western Gulf of Mexico and then make landfall between Corpus Christi and Galveston Texas. The remnants of Harvey may then affect our area next Thursday night through Saturday as it combines with an approaching cold front. Highs next Thursday will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s, and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Friday and Saturday.

Next Sunday and Monday then look variably cloudy with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Tuesday we will then have a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Have a fantastic day!
