Saturday, September 30, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Chance of a shower/thunderstorm today…

It will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm today as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Tomorrow through Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s tomorrow, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s Tuesday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Wednesday.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. There will be a wide range in high temperatures as the colder air starts to move into our area from the west. Highs will range from the mid to upper 60’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 70’s to low 80’s in Central NJ.

Friday through next Sunday then look nice with highs rising from the 60’s to low 70’s Friday, to the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday, and the 70’s to low 80’s next Sunday as warm air streams into our area ahead of an approaching cold front.

Next Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Next Tuesday through Friday then look nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, dropping to the 60’s next Thursday and Friday.

There remains a chance of a tropical system developing in the Gulf of Mexico or off the East of Florida, or both, late next week into early the following week. It is still too early to tell if these storms will develop, and if they do, where exactly they will go. Anyone with interests along the Gulf Coast or along the Southeastern Coast of the United States will want to keep a close eye on this potential.

 Have a fantastic day!
