We just had a late September heat wave in some locations as highs again reached 90 degrees at my location in Allamuchy, Warren County, NJ. Just incredible, yes, a heat wave in late September…
Moving forward, it will be nice tomorrow and Friday with highs ranging from the mid to upper 60’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 70’s in Central NJ tomorrow, to the mid 60’s to low 70’s Friday.
Saturday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will range from the mid to upper 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 60’s in Central NJ.
Sunday through next Saturday then look nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Sunday, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday, the mid 60’s to mid 70’s Tuesday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Wednesday, the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Thursday, the upper 70’s and 80’s Friday, and the low to mid 70’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday through Tuesday then look variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s next Sunday, upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday, and the mid to upper 60’s next Tuesday.
It still appears as if there will be a tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico late next week into early the following week but it is still too early to tell how much it will strengthen and where it will go. Anyone with interests along the Gulf Coast will want to keep a close eye on this potential.
Have a wonderful evening!
