It will be nice through Thursday, with just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm Thursday as a cold front slowly approaches our area. Temperatures will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s tomorrow, the mid 60’s to mid 70’s Tuesday, rising to the 70’s Wednesday and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday as warm air streams into our area ahead of an approaching cold front.
Late this week a tropical system may develop in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. This storm may develop into a Tropical Storm or Hurricane and make landfall along the Florida Gulf Coast next weekend. The best guess for landfall with this storm right now is between Fort Myers and Tampa, possibly near Englewood, Florida. This storm will then travel up the East Coast early next week.
Friday through next Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a cold front passes through our area, then a disturbance passes through our area, and then the remnants of the tropical system from Gulf of Mexico approach our area. Highs will range from the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s in Central NJ Friday, the mid 60’s to mid 70’s Saturday, and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Sunday.
Next Monday into Tuesday morning we will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms as the remnants of the tropical system may pass through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday and the 60’s next Tuesday.
Next Wednesday through Saturday then look nice with highs in the 60’s next Wednesday, and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday through Saturday.
