The heavy rain will continue tonight and the wind will increase in intensity, with gusts of 30-50 mph in East Central and Northeastern PA, Central and Northern NJ, and Orange and Western Rockland Counties in NY, with wind gusts of 60-80 mph possible in extreme Northeastern Bergen County, NJ, New York City, on Long Island, in far Eastern Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam Counties in NY, and in Fairfield County, CT.
The rain will end in the morning with 2-4 inches of accumulation likely in most places. There will likely be flooding and power outages in some locations. Things will clear out in the afternoon and evening. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Halloween will then be nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Wednesday we will have increasing cloudiness with a slight chance of a shower in the afternoon or evening as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower. It will be warm with highs in the 60’s to low 70’s.
Friday clouds will increase in the morning with a chance of a shower in the afternoon as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Saturday will then be nice with highs in the low to mid 50’s.
Next Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Monday then looks nice with highs in the 60’s.
Next Tuesday clouds will increase in the morning with a chance of showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s and 60’s.
Next Wednesday through Saturday then look nice with highs in the 50’s next Wednesday, and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Thursday through Saturday.
