The severe weather and heavy rain didn’t develop today even though it was unusually warm. There were however strong winds that downed some trees.
Moving forward, It will be variably cloudy tomorrow and Thursday with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a Nor’easter develops off the coast. The best chance for showers will be on Eastern Long Island. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s tomorrow and the 50’s to low 60’s Thursday.
Friday and Saturday will then be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s Friday and the 60’s Saturday.
Sunday there will be a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times, as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s.
Monday and Halloween Day then look nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s Monday and the 50’s to low 60’s Halloween Day.
Next Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.
Next Thursday through Monday will then be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
