Tuesday, October 3, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Chance of showers/thunderstorms Friday and then watching the Gulf…

It will be nice through Thursday with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s today, to the mid to upper 60’s on Long Island and in the 70’s elsewhere tomorrow, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday.

Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches our area, but dies out. Highs will range from the low to mid 60’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, to the low to mid 80’s in Central NJ.

Saturday and Sunday will then be variably cloudy with just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the 70’s to mid 80’s.

This weekend a Tropical Storm may form in the Gulf of Mexico and head towards New Orleans or the Florida Panhandle, then up the East Coast early next week.

In our area, Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the remnants of the tropical storm approach our area. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times, as the remnants of the tropical storm pass through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Wednesday through Monday will then be nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday and Friday, the mid to upper 60’s next Saturday and Sunday, and the 60’s next Monday.

Have a fantastic day!
