Wednesday, October 25, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Strong Nor’easter possible Sunday…

A Nor’easter will form off the coast today and move northward tonight and tomorrow. This will bring a chance of showers to Long Island and Fairfield County, CT today and to all of us late tonight into tomorrow morning. Things will then clear out tomorrow afternoon from the south. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s today and the upper 40’s and 50’s tomorrow.

Friday and Saturday will then be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s Friday and the 60’s Saturday.

Sunday a cold front will approach from the west at the same time that a disturbance approaches from the south. The cold front and disturbance will combine, potentially forming into a strong Nor’easter. This storm will then move northward along the coast. This will bring us rain, possibly heavy at times. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Monday the rain will end in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Halloween and next Wednesday then look nice with highs in the 50’s to mid 60’s Halloween day and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday and Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 50’s and 60’s next Thursday and the 60’s to low 70’s next Friday.

Next Saturday through Tuesday then look nice with highs in the 50’s.

Have a fantastic day!
