Monday, November 20, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

A rainy start to Wednesday possible…

There was some sleet and a few snowflakes around last night and continuing into this morning, in parts of our area, as some Lake Effect moisture made it into our area. I actually got a coating of snow at my location in Allamuchy Township, Warren County, NJ.

There will be a continued chance for a snow shower or flurry this morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Tomorrow will then be nice, and warmer, with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Wednesday there will be a chance of rain in the morning, especially along the coast and on Long Island, as a storm system passes to our east off the coast. It will then clear out. Highs will be in the 40’s to mid 50’s.

Thanksgiving and Friday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Thanksgiving and the mid to upper 40’s Friday.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry as some Lake Effect moisture may make it into our area. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Monday and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s next Monday and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday then looks variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a cold front passes through our area Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Thursday through Sunday then look nice with highs in the 40’s next Thursday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday and Saturday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday.

Have a fantastic day!
