Saturday, November 18, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Unsettled weekend, heavy rain possible Wednesday morning and then…

We will have an unsettled weekend with clouds increasing this morning and rain developing this afternoon and evening as a cold front and associated disturbance approach from the west. It will also become quite windy tonight. The rain will end tomorrow morning and the wind will subside a bit. It will clear out and then become variably cloudy again in the afternoon with a chance of a snow flurry or snow shower at night as some Lake Effect moisture may make it into our area. Highs will range from the low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s along the coast and on Long Island Saturday. The high Sunday will then be early in the morning in the 50’s, dropping to the 40’s to low 50’s in the afternoon.

Monday and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the 40’s Monday and the upper 40’s and 50’s Tuesday.

Wednesday there will be a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times early in the morning, then clearing, as a Nor’easter may develop off the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s in Central NJ.

Thanksgiving and Friday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Thanksgiving and the mid to upper 40’s Friday.

Next Saturday through Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower next Saturday, a rain or snow shower next Sunday, and a snow shower next Monday as a disturbance may approach from the west, possibly turning into a Nor’easter off the Middle Atlantic Coast.  Highs will be in the 50’s next Saturday, the low to mid 40’s next Sunday, and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday through Friday then look nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Tuesday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Wednesday, and the 40’s next Thursday and Friday.

Have a fantastic day!
