Friday, December 8, 2017 - Evening Weather Discussion

Snow tomorrow…

The snow will start tomorrow morning between about 4 am and 8 am from south to north across our area, ending in the evening. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Total accumulations will be:

2-4 inches in East Central and Northeastern PA

3-5 inches in Northern NJ and Southeastern NY

4-6 inches in NYC and Fairfield County, CT

5-9 inches in Central and Coastal NJ and on Long Island

Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Monday clouds will increase in the afternoon with a chance of some light snow or flurries at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of some light snow or flurries ending in the morning, with a coating to an inch or two of accumulation possible. There will then be a chance of a snow shower at night as some Lake Effect moisture may make it into our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Wednesday through next Friday then look variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower each day. Highs will be in the upper teens to mid 20’s Wednesday, the 20’s Thursday, and the 30’s Friday.

Next Saturday through Monday then look nice with highs in the 30’s next Saturday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area, possibly turning into a Nor’easter. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Wednesday through Friday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.
