Wednesday, December 6, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Cold, but will it snow?

Today and tomorrow will be nice, but cooler, with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Friday clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening as a low pressure area develops off the East Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Saturday will be cloudy with a slight chance of snow along the coast and on Long Island as the storm remains well off the coast. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower, especially in the morning, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Monday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.

Tuesday a disturbance will approach from the west, likely developing into a Nor’easter off the NJ Coast, however, it is looking a bit more likely this morning that this storm will remain just far enough off shore (just like the one on Saturday) to keep most of the effects off shore and giving us just a chance of a snow shower. This is still a long way out though and we will need to keep a close eye on it. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Wednesday it will then be very cold behind this storm with highs only in the 20’s.

Next Thursday through Saturday then look variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower next Friday into Saturday morning. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Sunday and Monday then look nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday and the 30’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday then looks variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Have a fantastic day!
