Tuesday, February 20, 2018 - Evening Weather Discussion

70 tomorrow in many places and then what do I see in our future?

For those of you who enjoy the potential for strong and slow moving Nor’easter’s, the potential will definitely be there starting next Tuesday and especially from next Friday through the following Tuesday, and what makes it even more interesting is that cold air will also be in place starting next Tuesday and heading through at least the following Tuesday…

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the afternoon or evening as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s, except the 50’s to mid 60’s on Eastern Long Island.

Thursday and Friday will be cloudy with a chance of rain and possibly some freezing rain in parts of Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, and Southeastern NY State, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Saturday, clouds will increase with a chance of more rain in the afternoon and evening as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Sunday there will continue to be a chance of rain as yet another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Monday clouds will increase with highs in the 40’s.

Next Tuesday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance approaches from the west, possibly turning into a Nor’easter along the NJ Coast. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Next Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Friday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing as a disturbance approaches from the west, possibly developing into a Nor’easter along the coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Saturday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Sunday then looks nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Monday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a Nor’easter may develop along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
