Thursday, March 15, 2018 - Morning Weather Discussion

Potential Nor’easter Tuesday/Wednesday and then spring-like weather may arrive…

Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of snow showers this afternoon or evening. A coating of accumulation is possible, and up to two inches of accumulation is possible in Northeastern PA.  Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Saturday through Monday will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s to upper 40’s Saturday, the 30’s to low 40’s Sunday, and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Monday.

Tuesday an approaching storm system will reach Ohio or West Virginia and then re-develop near the Southern Delmarva Peninsula Tuesday night, likely turning into a Nor’easter. The storm will then track northeastward and out to sea Wednesday. This would bring us a chance of rain or snow Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 30’s Tuesday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Wednesday.

Next Thursday and Friday then look variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Thursday and the 40’s next Friday.

Spring may then arrive next Saturday and Sunday with nice weather and highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday then look nice with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Have a fantastic day!
