Thursday, March 22, 2018 - Morning Weather Discussion

Winter may not be over just yet…

Well, it really was an amazing storm with up to 16 inches in East Central PA, 13.5 inches in Ocean County, NJ, and 19 inches on Eastern Long island.

AND WINTER MAY NOT BE DONE JUST YET!

It may be too early to call an end to winter, so keep reading…

Things will clear out today and then it will be nice through Saturday with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s today, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s tomorrow and the upper 30’s and 40’s Saturday.

Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of snow showers as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Monday through Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the 40’s Monday, the mid 40’s to mid 50’s Tuesday, and the upper 40’s and 50’s Wednesday.

Next Thursday and Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a showers as a cold front slowly approaches and then passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Thursday and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Friday.

Next Saturday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing as a low-pressure area may approach from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the 40’s depending on whether this storm system affects our area.

Next Sunday into Monday morning there will be a chance of rain or snow as the approaching low-pressure area may develop into a Nor’easter along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s or 40’s depending on whether this Nor’easter develops and affects our area.

Next Tuesday there will again be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance may approach from the west, possibly turning into a Nor’easter along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s or 40’s, depending upon whether this potential storm affects our area.
Next Wednesday then looks nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
