Warm and rainy Friday and then a messy Sunday through New Year’s Day possible…
Today and tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s today and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s tomorrow.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with rain developing late at night, possibly starting as a brief period of snow, freezing rain, or sleet, in some locations as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Friday there will be rain, and possibly some snow, freezing rain, or sleet, early in the morning in some locations, with some clearing at night, as the storm system departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Saturday will be variably cloudy with highs from the low to mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s in Central NJ.
Sunday through New Year’s Day are then looking unsettled as a cold front will stall to our south and then several disturbances will ride along this front. It appears as if the first disturbance on Sunday will bring a chance of some snow as the front should remain to our south. It is however starting to look as if the following disturbance for New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day may push the cold front north of our area, causing the precipitation to change to rain, but we will have to wait and see.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of snow showers as a disturbance passes by to our south. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
New Year’s Eve clouds will increase with a chance of rain, snow, freezing rain, or sleet developing at night as a storm system approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
New Year’s Day there will be a chance of rain, snow, freezing rain, or sleet as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s.
Next Thursday through Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as a couple of disturbances pass through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s next Thursday and the low to mid 30’s next Friday and Saturday.
Next Sunday and Monday then look nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday and the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Monday.
