The latest data is starting to come into agreement on a significant snowstorm for East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ and Orange County, NY on Tuesday, with lighter amounts of accumulating snow elsewhere.

Below is the latest Medium-Range American model. The European model is similar, but with even heavier amounts in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY.

The grey shading is a trace to two inches in half inch increments.

The blue is 2-6 inches in half inch increments.

The purple is 6-10 inches in half inch increments.

The pink is 10+ inches in half inch increments up to ten inches and then one inch increments over ten inches.

Basically this map shows a trace possible on Long Island, a trace or a coating possible in NYC, a trace to 2 inches for Central and Northeastern NJ, Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam Counties in NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, 2-5 inches in Northwestern NJ and Orange County, NY, 3-6 inches in East Central, PA, and 5-10 inches in Northeastern PA.  Image courtesy WeatherBell Analytics.

This is what the Medium-Range American model shows, this is NOT my forecast. I will start working on my forecast now and will post later this afternoon.
