Final Snowfall Estimates...

OK, this is it, my final estimates for snowfall totals. Honestly, this is a brutally difficult forecast, as typically is with a changeover situation, and my confidence is below average, but I am going to give this a shot.  Here goes...

Total possible snowfall accumulations:

Trace to an inch possible:  Mercer and Middlesex Counties in NJ, Richmond, Kings, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk County from southeast to northwest in NY

Coating to an inch or two possible:  Southern Hunterdon, Southern Somerset, Union, Southeastern Essex, Hudson Counties in NJ, and New York County in NY

1-3 inches possible:  Central Hunterdon and Central Somerset, Southeastern Bergen in NJ, and Bronx in NY

2-4 inches possible:  Southern Lehigh in PA, Northern Hunterdon, Northern Somerset, Southeastern Morris, Northwestern Essex, and Central Bergen Counties in NJ, Southern Westchester County in NY, and Southern Fairfield County, CT

3-5 inches possible:  Southern Northampton in PA, Southern Warren, Southeastern Passaic in NJ, and Southeastern Rockland County in NY

4-6 inches possible:  Northern Lehigh and Northern Northampton in PA, Northwestern Morris, and Northwestern Bergen Counties in NJ, Putnam County in NY, and Northern Fairfield County, CT

5-7 inches possible:  Northern Warren, Southern Sussex, and Northwestern Passaic Counties in NJ, and Southeastern Orange County in NY

6-9 inches possible: Carbon, Southern Luzerne, Monroe, and Southeastern Pike in PA, Northern Sussex in NJ, and Northwestern Orange County in NY

9-12 inches possible:  Northern Luzerne, Lackawanna, Southern Wayne, and Northwestern Pike Counties in PA

12-18 inches possible:  Wyoming, Susquehanna, and Northern Wayne Counties in PA

Total possible ice accumulation:

Trace to a tenth of an inch possible:  East Central PA, Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, Long Island

Trace to a half of an inch possible:  Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT
