Light snow and flurries will develop tonight throughout much of our area as a storm system approaches from the west.
Tomorrow, the light snow and flurries will end in the morning, except in South Jersey where the snow could continue into early Monday. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Total possible snowfall accumulations as follows:
Trace to a coating possible: Southeastern NY State, Fairfield County, CT, and Eastern Long Island from north to south
Trace to an inch possible: Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, NYC, and Western Long Island from north to south
Half of an inch to 2 inches possible: East Central PA and Central NJ from north to south
2-6 inches possible: Southern NJ
Monday any snow in South Jersey will end early in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry in the afternoon or evening as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Thursday will then be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Friday there will be a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Saturday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing in the afternoon or at night as a storm system approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Sunday there will be a chance of snow, or rain possibly changing to snow and ending in the afternoon or evening as the storm system and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the 20’s to mid 30’s in the morning, dropping through the day.
Next Monday through Wednesday are then looking nice with highs in the mid teens to mid 20’s next Monday, the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Tuesday, and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday and Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Thursday and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Friday.
