A mixture of light precipitation will develop in our area tomorrow night into Tuesday morning as a warm front passes through our area. This could bring parts of East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT a chance of a trace or coating of snow. There could also be a light glaze of ice in parts of Northeastern PA. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Tuesday the precipitation will end in the morning, then showers will develop again at night as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs Tuesday will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Thursday and Friday will then be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next weekend things may then get interesting as a piece of the Polar Vortex will move into Southeastern Canada, supplying cold air to the Eastern United States. A strong disturbance will also be moving along the Gulf Coast at the same time that a weaker disturbance drops down from Canada and through the Great Lakes. These two disturbances may combine near the Middle Atlantic area, and if they do, they would have the potential to bring the Middle Atlantic States a major snowstorm. If these two disturbances fail to combine it would mean only variably cloudy skies and a chance of a snow shower or flurry. We will have to wait and see.
So, Saturday clouds will increase, with a chance of snow developing at night. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Sunday there will be a chance of snow with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Monday and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the mid to upper 20’s next Monday and the low to mid 30’s next Tuesday.
Next Wednesday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow showers at night as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Thursday any rain or snow showers will end in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Friday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.
Next Saturday there will be a chance of rain or snow developing as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Sunday there will be a chance of rain or snow as the approaching disturbance may turn into a Nor’easter near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Have a wonderful evening!
