Tuesday, January 1, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

Chance of some snowflakes early Thursday, then more rain Friday night and Saturday…

Happy New Year Everyone!

It will be variably cloudy with a chance of a sprinkle this morning as the storm system pulls away from our area. Highs will be in the morning and will range from the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s to low 60’s in Central NJ and then dropping in the afternoon.

Tomorrow, clouds will increase late in the day, with a chance of some light snow or snow showers very late at night as a weak disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a little light snow or some snow showers very early in the morning, as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Friday clouds will increase late in the day, with rain developing late at night as a storm system approaches our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Saturday, there will be rain, heavy at times in the morning, as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s.

Sunday will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s.

Monday, clouds will increase in the afternoon, with a chance of rain developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Tuesday there will be a chance of rain, possibly mixing with or changing to snow at night as the storm system passes through our area, reaching the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Wednesday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning as the storm system pulls away from our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Thursday through Monday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s next Thursday through Sunday, rising to the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday.
