TODAY –snow developing around 9 am in East Central PA, 9:30-10 am in Southern and Central NJ, around 10 am Northeastern PA and Northwestern NJ, around 10:30-11 am in Northeastern NJ and NYC, between 10 am and 12 pm in Southeastern NY State, between 11 am and 12 pm on Western Long Island, around 12 pm in Fairfield County, CT and on Central Long Island, and between 12 pm and 1 pm on Eastern Long Island. The snow will change to sleet, freezing rain, and rain tonight with significant icing likely in all of Eastern PA (except possibly right near Philadelphia), West Central NJ, much of Northern NJ (likely from about Rt. 287 west in Northern NJ), in most of Southeastern NY State (excluding possibly Southern Westchester County, and most of Fairfield County, CT (excluding possibly coastal sections). Highs will be at midnight and will range from low 30’s in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, to the low 40’s along the NJ Coast.

Total possible snowfall accumulations prior to the changeover:

Coating to an inch or two:  Cape May, Southern Cumberland, and Southern Atlantic Counties in NJ

One to three inches possible:  Susquehanna and Wayne Counties in PA, Salem, Northern Cumberland, Northern Atlantic, Gloucester, Camden, Southern Burlington, and Southern Ocean Counties in NJ, Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Putnam and Suffolk Counties in NY, and Fairfield County, CT

Two to four inches possible:  Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, Montgomery, Luzerne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, and Pike Counties in PA, Northern Burlington and Northern Ocean, Northern Warren, Sussex, Northwestern Morris, Passaic, Bergen, and Hudson Counties in NJ, Richmond, Kings, New York, Bronx, Queens, and Nassau Counties in NY

Two to five inches possible:  Bucks, Schuylkill, Berks, Lehigh, Carbon, Northampton, and Monroe Counties in PA, Southern Warren, Hunterdon, Southeastern Morris, Mercer, Somerset, Monmouth, Middlesex, Union, and Essex Counties in NJ

TOMORROW – precipitation ending early in the morning, followed by clearing, lows in the 30’s, highs from the low to mid 40’s in East Central and Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s in Central NJ

FRIDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

SATURDAY – increasing cloudiness, rain developing, possibly starting as a brief period of snow or ice in parts of East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, lows in the 20’s to low 30’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

SUNDAY – rain ending in the morning, followed by clearing, it will be windy, with gusts of up to 50 mph possible, lows in the md 30’s to mid 40’s, highs in the 50’s to low 60’s

MONDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, highs in the 30’s

TUESDAY – increasing cloudiness, chance of snow developing at night, lows in the mid teens to low 20’s, highs in the 30’s

NEXT WEDNESDAY – chance of rain or snow, lows in the upper teens and 20’s, highs in the mid 30’s low 40’s

NEXT THURSDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the upper teens and 20’s, highs in the mid to upper 30’s

NEXT FRIDAY – variably cloudy, chance of snow showers, lows in the 20’s, highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s

NEXT SATURDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the 20’s, highs in the upper 20’s and 30’s

NEXT SUNDAY – mostly sunny, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s

NEXT MONDAY – increasing cloudiness, chance of snow developing in the afternoon or evening, lows in the mid teens to mid 20’s, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

NEXT TUESDAY – chance of snow, lows in the teens to low 20’s, highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s
