The all-time record-breaking heat wave in the Southeastern United States will continue through Thursday, with highs approaching 105 degrees in parts of Northern Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. This heat is being kept south of our area by a stationary front that has been situated near our area the entire spring. However, instead of severe heat, we will be dealing with chances for severe thunderstorms this evening through Thursday evening as several disturbances ride along this frontal boundary and through our area…
There will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms this evening and they could be severe in some locations, as a disturbance passes through our area.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, and they could again be severe in some locations, as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Thursday will again be variably cloudy with a chance of afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Friday and Saturday are then actually looking nice, with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
Sunday the chance for showers or thunderstorms will return as another disturbance and cold front pass through our area. The showers and thunderstorms could be heavy at times. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the 60’s.
Next Tuesday, June 4th is then looking nice with highs in the 60’s.
Next Wednesday, June 5th, through next Friday, June 7th, are again looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as more disturbances may pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday, and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Thursday and Friday.
Next Saturday, June 8th and next Sunday, June 9th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s and 70’s.
Next Monday, June 10th, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms as another disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Have a wonderful evening but please keep an eye to the sky!
