Wednesday, May 22, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

Chance for showers or thunderstorms tomorrow, a nice Friday, and then quite warm in parts of our area Sunday…

It will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning as a weak disturbance passes through our area and showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening as a cold front passes through our area. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 60’s on Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT, the mid to upper 60’s in Rockland, Westchester and Putnam Counties in NY, the mid 60’s to low 70’s in NYC, the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Northeastern PA and along the NJ Coast, the low to mid 70’s in Northwestern NJ and inland East Central NJ, and the mid 70’s in East Central PA and West Central NJ.

Friday will then be nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s in Northeastern PA, the mid to upper 60’s in Orange and Putnam Counties in NY State, the mid 60’s to low 70’s in Northwestern NJ and Fairfield County, CT, the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Rockland and Westchester Counties and on Eastern Long Island, the low to mid 70’s in East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, and on Western Long Island, and the mid 70’s in Central NJ and NYC.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches from the north. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s on Long Island, the mid 60’s along the NJ Coast, in NYC, in Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam Counties in NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, the mid to upper 60’s in Northeastern NJ, the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Orange County, NY, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s in inland East Central NJ, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s in Northeastern PA and Northwestern NJ, and the mid 70’s in West Central NJ, and the mid to upper 70’s in East Central PA.

Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s in Northeastern PA and Orange County, NY, the upper 70’s to low 80’s in Putnam County NY, the upper 70’s to mid 80’s in Northwestern NJ and Fairfield County, NY, the low to mid 80’s in East Central PA, Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY, and on Long Island, the mid 80’s in Northeastern NJ and NYC, and the mid to upper 80’s in Central NJ.

Monday is then looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s on Long Island and along the NJ Coast, in the low to mid 70’s in Northeastern PA, and the mid to upper 70’s elsewhere.

Tuesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning as a warm front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s on Long Island, the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and the 70’s elsewhere.

Next Wednesday, May 29th, and next Thursday, May 30th, are then looking nice with highs in the low to mid 70’s on Long Island and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s elsewhere.

Next Friday, May 31st, through next Sunday, June 2nd, are then looking unsettled with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a cold front slowly approaches and passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and 70’s next Friday and Saturday, and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Sunday.

Next Monday, June 3rd, and next Tuesday, June 4th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
