Monday, June 17, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

More showers and possibly some thunderstorms on the way…

We will get a bit of a break this morning with just a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle this morning, then there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, especially in East Central PA, Central NJ, and on Long Island, as a disturbance passes just south of our area, along the stationary front situated near our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and 70’s.

Tomorrow showers or thunderstorms will be likely as another disturbance passes right through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with showers or thunderstorms likely during the day as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as yet one more disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the low 70’s along the coast and in the mid 70’s to low 80’s inland.

Friday there will be a chance of showers in the morning, then clearing, as the stationary front may leave our area for a while. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and 70’s.

Saturday and Sunday are then looking nice, with just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and 70’s Saturday and the 70’s Sunday.

Next Monday, June 24th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm during the day, and then showers or thunderstorms will be likely at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Next Tuesday, June 25th, and next Wednesday, June 26th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms each day as another disturbance or two pass through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Thursday, June 27th, through next Sunday, June 30th, are looking nice, as there is a chance that this stationary front will finally break down, at least for a while. Let’s hope. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Have a fantastic day!
