Saturday, June 15, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

The stationary front plaguing our area the entire spring will develop again tonight, with endless chances for showers/thunderstorms...

This is one of the easiest forecasts I have ever had to make. Unfortunately, this spring has featured a stationary front that develops in our area and doesn’t go away. We have been lucky if we have gotten even a couple of days in a row of nice weather, and it doesn’t look as if anything is going to change any time soon.

This leaves us with at least a chance of a shower or thunderstorm every day for the next two weeks. The way it looks right now, the days with the best chances for showers or thunderstorms will be tomorrow, Monday night, Tuesday through Thursday, next Sunday, June 22nd, and next Monday, June 23rd.

Highs will be generally in the 70’s to low 80’s, with the warmest days currently looking like Tuesday, next Saturday, June 22nd, and next Sunday, June 23rd, when highs could reach the mid 80’s in parts of our area.

Sorry, I wish I had better news, but keep in mind that even though there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day, some days will likely be rain-free in parts of our area, and things could change over time.

Have a fantastic day!
