Sunday, June 9, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

Heavy rain and flash flooding possible in parts of our area tomorrow…

It will start out nice today, but clouds will increase this afternoon and evening, with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm developing tonight as a disturbance approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Tomorrow there will be showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, the rain could be heavy at times, as the disturbance passes through our area. Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches will be possible in some locations, which could cause some flash flooding. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Tuesday the showers will end early in the morning, followed by clearing. It will also be windy, especially in the morning, with gusts of 20-40 mph possible, especially in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Wednesday clouds will increase late in the day, with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm developing at night, as another disturbance develops in the Southeastern United States and then starts approaching our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Thursday there will be a chance for showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s to low 70’s.

Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Saturday is then looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Sunday, June 16th, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm developing at night as another disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Monday, June 17th, and next Tuesday, June 18th, there will be a chance for showers or thunderstorms as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Wednesday, June 19th, through next Saturday, June 22nd, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the 70’s next Wednesday and the 70’s to low 80’s next Thursday through Saturday.
