5th Confirmed Tornado This Year in NJ...

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado struck Mount Laurel, Burlington County, NJ yesterday. This is the 5th confirmed tornado in NJ this year.

A very active spring weather pattern has continued into the summer as disturbances continue to ride along a boundary between air masses that has been situated over our area since winter.

This particular tornado was classified as an F1 and was very unusual for NJ as it traveled for more than a mile. Usually tornadoes in NJ are very short-lived.
