Tropical Storm Erin has formed off the East Coast and will bring parts of our area (especially along the coast and on Long Island), some showers today, and then a cold front will approach from the west tonight, bringing everyone a chance for a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Tomorrow will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Friday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a weak cold front passes through our area at night. Highs will be in the 80’s.
Saturday will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
This weekend, Tropical Storm Dorian may reach Hurricane strength prior to making landfall along the East Coast of Florida Sunday. Anyone along the East Coast of Florida will want to keep a close eye on this storm as it does have the potential to reach major storm strength prior to landfall. Sunday and Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of shower or thunderstorm developing Sunday and continuing through Monday as a disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Tuesday is then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the cold front passes east of our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Wednesday, September 4th, is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s and 80’s.
Next Thursday, September 5th, and next Friday, September 6th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s and 70’s next Thursday and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Friday.
Next Saturday, September 7th, through next Tuesday, September 10th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a cold front approaches, possibly stalling and becoming a stationary front near our area. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s next Saturday, the 70’s next Sunday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday and Tuesday.
