Highs today will range from the upper 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 80’s in Central NJ.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs in the 70’s.
Dorian will come very close to the South Carolina Coast tomorrow, then likely making landfall near Morehead City, NC. This would bring strong wind and heavy rain to much of the Southeastern United States, especially coastal areas. Click here for the latest on Hurricane Dorian from the National Hurricane Center.
In our area, rain will develop Friday from south to north across our area as Hurricane Dorian approaches. The rain could become heavy at times in the afternoon and evening. It will also become windy, with gusts of 20-30 mph possible inland, and up to 40 mph possible along the coast. Highs will range from the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
Saturday is then looking nice with highs in the 70’s.
Sunday through next Friday, September 13th, are then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a stationary front may develop near our area. Highs will be in the 70’s Sunday, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday and Tuesday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Wednesday, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Thursday, and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Friday.
Next Saturday, September 14th, through next Monday, September 16th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs gradually rising from the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Saturday, to the 70’s next Sunday, and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, September 17th, is then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 70’s.
