Friday, October 25, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

Heavy rain in parts of our area Sunday and then a showery, but warm, Halloween Day is looking likely…

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain developing at night as a strong disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Sunday there will be rain, heavy at times, as a strong disturbance passes through our area. Rainfall amounts will generally range from a half of an inch to an inch and a half throughout our area. Highs will range from the upper 50’s to low 60’s in Orange and Putnam Counites and in Northern Fairfield County, CT to the upper 60’s to low 70’s in Central NJ.

Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Tuesday there will be a chance of rain, with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s as a weak disturbance develops along the NJ Coast. Highs will be in the 60’s.

Wednesday is then looking variably cloudy with highs in the 60’s.

Halloween Day will then be variably cloudy with a chance of showers at night as a strong disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Highs will be in the 60’s.

Next Friday, November 1st, there will be a chance of showers as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Saturday, November 2nd, will then be nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Sunday, November 3rd, and next Monday, November 4th, will then be nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Tuesday, November 5th, through next Thursday, November 7th, will then be nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
