The low reached an unbelievable 33 degrees this morning at my location in Allamuchy, Warren County, NJ, so I am certain some parts of our area managed to get below freezing, for the first frost and freezes in our area only two days after being 90 degrees. Just incredible…
A cold front will approach Monday night and Tuesday but may then stall, becoming a stationary front situated over our area. A disturbance may then develop off the Middle Atlantic Coast the middle of next week, combining with this stationary front. If this were to occur, we would have a chance of rain for the middle of the week, and there is even a chance of heavy rain. We will have to wait and see.
Today will be nice, but quite cool, with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower, especially in East Central and Northeastern PA as a cold front slowly approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Monday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower in the morning and afternoon, then showers or thunderstorms will be likely at night as the cold front reaches our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s.
Wednesday and Thursday there will be a chance of rain, depending on whether a Nor’easter develops off the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s Wednesday and the mid 60’s to low 70’s Friday.
Friday there will be a chance of a shower if the Nor’easter is situated off the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Next Saturday, October 12th, through next Wednesday, October 16th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Sunday, the 60’s next Monday, and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Next Thursday, October 17th and next Friday, October 18th, there will be a chance of a shower at night and into next Friday morning. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Friday.
Have a fantastic day!
