Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

A bit of rain in parts of our area today, the snow will miss most of us to the north Thursday night and Friday and then watching Monday night into next Tuesday…

Today we will be sandwiched between a cold front to our northwest and a weak disturbance to our southeast.  This will bring a chance of a sprinkle this morning in Northeastern PA, Northeastern NJ, and Westchester County, NY, and a chance of light rain or a sprinkle in East Central NJ, NYC, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, ending this afternoon and evening from west to east. Highs will range from the mid 50’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 60’s in East Central NJ.

Tomorrow will be nice with highs ranging from the mid to upper 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s in Central NJ.

Thursday clouds will increase with rain developing at night, possibly mixing with snow in Northeastern PA, as a disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Highs will range from the mid to upper 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 50’s in Central NJ.

Friday rain will end early in the morning from west to east, and possibly a bit of snow in Northeastern PA, then there will be a chance of a snow shower in Northeastern PA as some Lake Effect moisture could reach that area. Highs will range from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.

Saturday and Sunday are then looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Saturday and the mid 40’s to mid 50’s Sunday.

Monday there will be a chance of rain or snow developing in the afternoon or evening as a disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Any rain could change to snow at night. Highs will range from the low to mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s in Central NJ.

Next Tuesday, November 12th, there will be a chance of snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will range from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.

Next Wednesday, November 13th, through next Saturday, November 16th, are then looking nice with highs in the 30’s next Wednesday, from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 40’s in Central NJ and on Long Island next Thursday, from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ and on Long Island next Friday, and from the upper 30’s in 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island next Saturday.

Next Sunday, November 17th, and next Monday, November 18th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s next Sunday and the 40’s to low 50’s next Monday.

Have a fantastic day!
