Today clouds will increase with a chance of a sprinkle this morning and light rain developing this afternoon and evening from west to east, ending at night, as a disturbance passes to our north. It will become windy in the afternoon and evening with gusts of up to 45 mph possible. Highs will be in the 50’s.
Thanksgiving will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower in Northeastern PA. It will be windy, with gusts of up to 55 mph possible, with the worst of the winds around mid-day as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s in the morning, dropping a bit in the afternoon.
Black Friday and Saturday will be nice, but with increasing cloudiness late in the day. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Black Friday and in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Saturday.
Sunday a disturbance will approach from the west, likely developing into a Nor’easter off the NJ Coast. This will cause rain, snow, freezing rain, or sleet to develop in the morning, changing to rain in Central NJ and on Long Island. Highs will range from the low to mid 30’s in Northeastern PA and Orange County, NY, to the upper 40’s along the NJ Coast.
Monday there will be a chance of rain, sleet, freezing rain, or snow ending in the morning, followed by variably cloudy skies and a chance of a rain or snow shower as the Nor’easter pulls away from our area. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, to the low 40’s along the NJ Coast and on Long Island.
Tuesday through next Monday, December 9th are then looking nice with highs rising from the 30’s Tuesday, to the mid 30’s to low 40’s Wednesday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Thursday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Friday through next Sunday, and the 40’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, December 10th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance approaches our area from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the 40’s.
