Today will be very nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Tomorrow a cold front and disturbance will approach from the west, causing light rain and drizzle to develop in the morning in Northeastern PA, and in the afternoon and evening elsewhere, possibly mixing with or changing to snow before ending late at night in Northeastern PA, and possibly mixing with snow before ending elsewhere. Highs will range from the mid to upper 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s in Central NJ and on Eastern Long Island.

Monday, clouds will increase, with a chance of snow developing at night, possibly starting briefly as rain, as a cold front passes through our area and then a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.
Tuesday there will be a chance of snow as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s depending on how exactly this disturbance develops and the exact track that it takes.
Below is the latest run of the ECMWF (European model) ensemble mean snowfall map. The ensemble mean is an averaging of the 50 different ways the model is tweaked for various conditions, meaning half of the member show more snow than this and half show less. We will just have to wait and see how this works out, but there is a better chance of snow with this system than with the one tomorrow night as there will be more cold air available, and notice how far south it shows the chance for accumulating snow. Of course things can change, but it will be fun to watch the next the next 5 days or so. Image courtesy ECMWF and WeatherBell Analytics. Click on the image to enlarge.
