Today clouds will increase with rain developing from west to east and a bit of freezing rain possible in a few of the highest elevations in Northeastern PA, as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Tomorrow there will be rain, and a bit of freezing rain possible at night in a few of the highest elevations of Northeastern PA, as the disturbance passes through our area. The rain may mix with snow in parts of Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT at night. Lows will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s,with highs from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, to the mid 40’s to low 50’s in Central NJ.
New Year’s Eve the rain will end early in the morning and snow ending in parts of Southeastern NY State and Northern Fairfield County, CT, with a coating of accumulation possible in some locations, then it will be variably cloudy. Highs will be in the 40’s.
New Year’s Day and Thursday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s New Year’s Day and Thursday.
Friday into Saturday morning, rain will be likely as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s Friday and in the mid 40’s to low 50’s Saturday.
Next Sunday, January 5th and next Monday, January 6th, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s next Sunday and the 30’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, January 7th, will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Wednesday, January 8th, through next Friday, January 10th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Wednesday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Thursday, and the 30’s to low 40’s next Friday.
Next Saturday, January, 11th, is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
