Below is a picture of the 4.5 inches of snow at my location in Allamuchy, Warren County, NJ this morning.
The storm ended up developing a bit east of where was expected, pushing the heavy snow away from Eastern PA and moving it towards Northern NJ and Southeastern NY State.
Click here to see some snow totals for East Central and Northeastern PA, Central and Northwestern NJ. The highest is 12.7 inches in Highland Lakes, Sussex County, NJ.
And click here to see some snow totals from Northeastern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT. The highest total was 13.2 inches in Middletown, Orange County, NY.
The snow will be ending in eastern sections this morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry in the morning and again at night. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning and again at night as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower in the afternoon or evening as a cold front approaches our area. Highs will range from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, to the mid 40’s to low 50’s in Central NJ.
Saturday and Sunday will then be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Saturday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday.
Monday and next Tuesday, December 10th, rain will be likely as a storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s Monday and the upper 40’s and 50’s next Tuesday.
Next Wednesday, December 11th, there will be a chance of rain ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Thursday, December 12th is looking variably cloudy with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Friday, December 13th, through next Monday, December 16th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday, the 40’s next Saturday and Sunday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday.
