Wednesday, December 18, 2019 - Morning Weather Discussion

Some flakes possible this afternoon and evening, then nice through next Friday, before a potentially unsettled start to the following week…

Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening flurry, snow shower, or snow squall, as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy and cold, with a chance of a flurry. Lows tomorrow morning will be in the upper single digits to mid teens, with highs in the 20’s.

Friday through next Friday, December 27th, is then looking nice with highs gradually rising from the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Friday, to the low to mid 30’s Saturday, the low to mid 40’s Sunday, and the mid 40’s to low 50’s Monday, then gradually dropping to the mid to upper 40’s Christmas Eve, the low to mid 40’s Christmas Day, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Friday.

Next Saturday, December 28th, and next Sunday, December 29th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Monday, December 30th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

New Year’s Eve there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
