Warm this weekend with Showers/thunderstorms likely tomorrow
night into Sunday morning with very strong winds, and then winter arrives…
There will be a chance of a shower in East Central and
Northeastern PA through tomorrow, with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle
elsewhere. It will breezy, with gusts up to 35 mph possible. Highs will be in
the mid 50’s to mid 60’s tomorrow.
Late tomorrow night into Sunday morning, and into early
Sunday afternoon on Long Island, there will be a chance of showers or
thunderstorms as a strong cold front passes through our area. It will be windy,
with gusts up 65 mph possible very early Sunday morning. Things will then clear
out behind the cold front, but it will still be breezy with gusts of up to 45
mph possible during the day. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s, but
will drop in the afternoon in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s.
Tuesday clouds will increase with a chance of a shower in
the afternoon or evening as a weak disturbance passes to our south. Highs will
be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Wednesday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers
developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in
the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Thursday, there will be a chance of a shower in the morning,
followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Friday, January 17th, clouds will increase
with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a strong disturbance
approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Saturday, January 18th, there will be a
chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be
in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Sunday, January 19th, and next Monday,
January 20th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 20’s to
mid 30’s.
Next Tuesday, January 21st, and next Wednesday,
January 22nd, there will be a chance of snow as a disturbance passes
near our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Thursday, January 23rd, is then looking
mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
