Today will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in East Central and Northeastern PA during the day and developing in Northern NJ and Southeastern NY State at night, and a chance of a sprinkle elsewhere. It will be breezy with gusts up to 40 mph possible in some locations. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Tomorrow there will be showers and thunderstorms in the morning as a strong cold front passes through our area, clearing in the late morning and early afternoon from west to east. Lows will be in the 50’s to low 60’s. Winds could gust up to 65 mph in some of the early morning showers or thunderstorms. It will then be breezy with gusts up to 45 mph later in the morning. Highs will be early in the morning, in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s, then dropping to the 50’s to low 60’s.
Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s to low 50’s.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower in the afternoon or evening as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.
Wednesday clouds will increase with a chance of showers at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Thursday and Friday will then be nice, but colder, with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Thursday and the low to mid 30’s Friday.
Next Saturday, January 18th, there will be a chance of rain or snow, likely changing to snow, as a strong disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Sunday, January 19th, there will be a chance of snow ending early in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Monday, January 20th, will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Tuesday, January 21st, and next Wednesday, January 22nd, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Tuesday and the 20’s to low 30’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, January 23rd, will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Friday, January 24th, there will be a chance of snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.
