It will be nice through Friday with temperatures gradually warming from the mid 20’s to low 30’s today to the upper 20’s to mid 30’s tomorrow, the mid 30’s to low 40’s Wednesday, the 40’s Thursday, and the mid to upper 40’s Friday.
Wednesday through Friday, one disturbance will drop down from Canadian into the Plains States (an Alberta Clipper), while another disturbance moves eastward across the Gulf Coast. These two disturbances will combine Friday in the Tennessee River Valley or Southeastern United States, forming a stronger disturbance that will then move northeastward, likely becoming a Nor’easter as it nears the NJ Coast Saturday night. This will cause rain or snow to develop in our area Saturday from southwest to northeast, continuing into Sunday morning. Highs Saturday will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s, and in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Sunday.
Next Monday, January 27th through next Wednesday, January 29th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Thursday, January 30th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Friday, January 31st, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Saturday, February 1st, and next Sunday, February 2nd, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
