It will be variably cloudy through Wednesday, with just a slight chance of a sprinkle Tuesday night. Highs will be in the 40’s tomorrow, the mid to upper 40’s Tuesday, and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Wednesday.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning as a cold front passes through our area. There will then be a chance of a snow flurry in the evening. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Friday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Saturday, a strong disturbance will approach from the west, reaching the Great Lakes States Saturday morning. This disturbance will then start to re-develop near the NJ Coast Saturday evening. How fast this system redevelops near the NJ Coast will determine how much snow our area receives before any potential change to rain, as the strong disturbance over the Great Lakes will help to pull warmer air into our area. As the system re-develops near the NJ Coast, it will prevent warmer air from moving into our area. So, we will just have to see how fast this system re-develops near the NJ Coast. So, as it appears right now, this will bring a chance of snow in Northeastern PA, snow, or snow changing to rain in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY, and snow changing to rain in Central and Northeastern NJ, Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam Counties in NY, NYC, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Sunday, January 19th through next Thursday, January 23rd, will then be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday, the 20’s next Monday, the upper teens to mid 20’s next Tuesday, the 20’s next Wednesday, and in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Thursday.
Next Friday, January 24th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Next Saturday, January 25th, will be nice with highs in the 30’s.
Have a wonderful evening!
