Tuesday, January 7, 2020 - Morning Weather Discussion

Light snow and flurries possible tonight, snow showers possible tomorrow, and then rainy and warm this weekend…

Clouds will increase today with light rain and light snow and flurries developing from southwest to northeast in the late afternoon and evening, gradually changing to light snow and flurries, then ending at night. Total accumulation will be anywhere from a trace to an inch and a half in most locations, with the best chance for the higher amounts being in East Central PA and Southern NJ. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of snow showers or flurries as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 30’s.

Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower, then rain will develop at night as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will range from the low to mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s in East Central NJ.

Saturday there will be a chance of rain, and it will be warm with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Sunday the rain will end in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 40’s and 50’s.

Monday, clouds will increase with a chance of rain ending at night. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Next Tuesday, January 14th, there will be a chance of rain, ending at night. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Wednesday, January 15th, clouds will increase late in the day. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Thursday, January 16th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Friday, January 17th, through next Sunday, January 19th, are looking variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s next Friday, the 30’s next Saturday, and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday.

Next Monday, January 20th, there will be a chance of rain or snow with highs in the 30’s.
